Australian Damian Clark kicked off his comedy career with winning the Perth Comedy Fringe Award in 2000 and hasn't stopped since.
FOUR STARS 'Hilarious…well-wrought set delivered with brio and huge charm, amazing' – The Scotsman
His first solo show The Bandit won the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Moosehead Award, which lead to touring all over Australia. In 2003 Damian Clark was a member of the debut breakfast crew for Perth's, then brand new station, Nova. The show known as “Damo, Nat & Craig” soon rocketed to number 1 in the ratings. Following acclaimed TV performances on comedy talk show “ROVE LIVE & ABC’s STAND-UP!” and in The Comedy Channel’s “DAMO DOES EDINBURGH” (as creator and star) Damo left the sunny shores of Down Under.
Damian moved to Ireland in 2005 and within weeks was hailed ‘The No. 1 event to see' and 'cream of the crop’ (InDublin Magazine). Soon after arriving Clark became a regular feature in RTE's IFTA Award-winning “REPUBLIC OF TELLY” and a comedy panelist in 3 series of TV3’s “THE APPRENTICE: YOU’RE FIRED!”. Damian and fellow comic Andrew Stanley wrote & starred in their own series “I DARE YA!” which became the highest rating Irish comedy debut to date.
Now based in Dublin, Damian’s rambunctious and uplifting stand up can be seen in clubs & festivals all over the UK, Ireland, Europe and beyond. He was hand picked to support Jack Dee and Kevin Bridges on national tours and is a much sort after headliner and MC. Now is the time to catch this raw talent as he stands on the cusp of superstardom.
