Bestival

Bestival is one of the UK's most famous music festivals, popular for its hugely diverse lineups and warm embrace of creativity, which includes comedy, theatre, circus and art.

Now set at Lulworth Castle after moving from the Isle of Wight, Bestival brings its sparkle to the same site as its younger sibling – Camp Bestival – transforming the castle grounds into a haven of eccentricity and surrealism under a yearly theme. 2018's theme is the sea, so get planning those fancy dress ideas!

And when it comes to the music, Bestival has it all. Spanning across rock, indie, house, techno, hip-hop, D&B, reggae, garage and more, Bestival's lineup quite literally has something for everyone.

Shindig

Following the triumphant sell out in 2017, Shindig are back in the saddle planning the next big Weekender which will take place on 25th - 28th May 2018. This glorious opener to the summer focuses on bringing together all ages and walks of life with a glittering soundtrack of house, disco, bass, fun and much more. Recent years have seen the festival expand it’s offering to include wellbeing and craft areas to feed the mind and soul, wooded hideaways for spoken word and creative sharers as well as a place for late night debauched revellers to play. With no main stages and the stunning countryside as a backdrop, Shindig has become famed for it’s beauty as much as it’s masterfully curated line ups.

Y-NOT

For one weekend a year, the gorgeous Peak District countryside becomes home to the Y Not Festival. Y Not is the Small, Fresh & Loud music festival, with a fantastic atmosphere and a history of amazing live acts.

There has been steady, organic growth since it began life as a gathering of young people attending an overspilling house party in deepest, darkest, Derbyshirest, Derbyshire. But it does retain the carefree, good-time atmosphere of those original, dawning years.

The festival is still run by the same small team of passionate enthusiasts it was all those years ago (albeit a little older and a little wiser), but with the same ethos at heart – great people having a great time makes a great festival. Stunning panoramic views of the countryside, a fully stocked bar of local ales and ciders, a mouth-watering selection of food and more live music than you could ever possibly take in.

All you need to provide is the memories (and a killer fancy dress outfit).
